China's benchmark Shanghai Composite Index on the Shanghai Stock Exchange closed at 2,416.56 on Friday, down 46.48 points, or 1.89 percent, from the previous close. A Share Index: 2,531.06 points, down 48.61 points, or 1.88 percent; B Share Index: 247.17 points, down 6.34 points, or 2.5 percent; Total Turnover: 70.57 billion yuan (11.1 billion U.S. dollars).
