IMF reform measures crucial to adjust financial situation

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Tuesday said economic reform measures adopted by the Egyptian government including setting new energy prices, are crucial to adjust the financial situation and achieve social justice.
The IMF in a report on the Egyptian economy, a copy of which was received by MENA, underlined the importance of maintaining the reform measures.
The report indicated that the national economy has seen marked progress in the recent period.
The Central Bank of Egypt, added the report, has adopted a strict monetary policy in a bid to contain inflation.
