Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr had talks on Saturday with new French Ambassador Stéphane Romatet on means of promoting investment and development cooperation.
In a statement on Saturday, Nasr underlined the depth of Egyptian-French ties at the political and economic levels.
She said there are great investment opportunities for French investors in the Suez Canal axis project, the new administrative capital and new Alamein city.
Nasr said she is looking forward to injecting more French investments into Egypt in the coming period.
Meanwhile, Romatet stressed his country's support for Egypt at the economic level.
Nasr also held a meeting with Armenian Ambassador in Cairo Armen Melkonian to review preparations for the 5th session of the joint committee meeting which is due to be held in the Armenian capital by the end of September.
