New law to facilitate issuing industrial permits

Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Qabeel lauded a new law on issuing permits for industrial facilities as it will ease procedures.
"This will have positive impact on investors and will significantly contribute to attract more investments in the coming period," Qabeel told a news conference
He reviewed the key aspects of executive regulations of the act, released earlier in 2017.
"The act will highly link granting permits to the level of industrial risks," said the minister, adding that it's meant to overcome several impediments that face investors including bureaucracy.
The executive regulations of the law will be released later today.
