A new batch of 435 applicants will avail of housing loans for purchasing, building and restoration worth around BD 14,358,000. The new scheme has become effective as per a ministerial decision which was signed last Thursday by Housing Minister Basim bin Yaqoob Al Hamer. The Housing Bank is due to inform the beneficiaries within the next few days to turn up and finalise the needed documents for the loans to be paid out. The Housing Minister congratulated the beneficiaries, stressing the ministry’s constant keenness to cater to citizens’ housing demands as per its previously-announced strategic plan.
