About EGP 10 million were allocated to renovating 3,000 Nubian houses and finalizing sanitary grids in three Nubian villages, the head of the Nasr el-Nuba Center said Wednesday. Samir Haqar said the government is deeply interested in developing the infrastructure and utilities of small towns in governorates. He added that EGP 3 million has recently been allocated as an emergency aid for widows, divorced women and poor families, noting that EGP 250,000 was earmarked for Nubian families which do not have fixed income.
