Today, a new metro station was launched in Baku. President Ilham ALiyev attended the opening ceremony. Deputy Chairman of Baku Metro Arif Rasulov says that, Darnagul station is the 23rd station: “Total length of complex is 1,548 pogonometres, station complex – 302 pogonometres”. He noted that, there were 6 entrance-exits to the Darnagul station. Three escalators with the 7m height have been constructed. For the first time, SOS Alert System was constructed here. Passenger information kiosks have been constructed in cash hall. New station was constructed in S.S. Akhundov Street, Binagadi District and covers 7th microdistrict housing unit. Besides, new park was laid out in 10.2 ha area.
