An unnamed Russian national has purchased a 300-years-old estate in the British town of Henley on the Thames River, Daily on Sunday newspaper reported. The Park Place estate, some 35 miles to the west of London, has been purchased for 140 million pounds (some $228 million). It beat the previous record estate sale, which was One Hyde Park, purchased several months ago by Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov for 136 million pounds (some $221 million). Besides a villa, the Park Place includes a territory of several hectares, a park, monuments, cottages, horse stables and a dock for boats.
