Egyptian court upholds suspending 4 employees over protesting

The Supreme Administrative Court on Wednesday upheld the ruling that suspended four employees of Egypt's State Council.

The employees were accused of protesting inside the headquarters of the council, hindering the councilors' course of work and hurting the interests of litigants.

On May 2013, the convicts broke into a court hall and disconnected the electricity, forcing the judge to stop the proceedings of the trial in hand.

On April 28, the Supreme Administrative Court issued a ruling referring to retirement any employee who would stage a strike or occupy a public property or hinder the interests of the public using this property.
