Belgian trade unions are attempting Monday to paralyze the capital Brussels with a new round of anti-government strikes, bringing public transport and train services to a halt, dpa reported.
It is the third Monday in a row that regional strikes have been held in Belgium to protest labour and social reforms pledged by the new government of Prime Minister Charles Michel. The wave of industrial action is due to culminate with a general strike on December 15.
