A second lawsuit has been filed against Caitlyn Jenner for her involvement in a February four-car accident that left one dead and seven others hospitalized.
Jessica Marie Seindorff, a talent manager based in Hollywood, filed a personal injury claim Monday. Seindorff's Toyota Prius was initially hit by late crash victim Kim Howe, 69, who Jenner then rear-ended and sent into incoming traffic.
The first civil lawsuit against Caitlyn Jenner, who was then referred to as Bruce, was filed by Howe's stepchildren, who are seeking unspecified damages and the cost of the suit, CNN says.
Speculation at the time of the crash suggested that Jenner was using her phone from behind the wheel at the time of the accident. In an effort to cooperate with police, she turned over her cell phone data to the sheriff's department in hope of proving that she was not texting.
After the crash, she issued a statement of sympathy to those affected by the tragic event:
"My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident," she said.
