Jaden Smith, Lorde, Malala Yousafzai and Kendall and Kylie Jenner made this year's list of Time magazine's 25 most influential teens.
Will Smith's son originally rose to fame thanks to his multiple cameos on his father's films, but the 16-year-old became one of the most influential teenagers of 2014, Time said, because of his "Twitter musings" which are described as being "equal parts absurdist .. and insightful."
Kiwi singer Lorde, 17, was referred to as a "force in music and pop culture" on the list, thanks mostly to her smash hit debut album Pure Heroine.
Reality star Jenner sisters Kendall, 18, and Kylie, 17, also made the cut for the multiple projects they put out together, and separately, this year. The sisters are credited with creating several capsule collections for well-known brands and publishing a dystopian young-adult novel in 2014. Additionally, the two are working on their solo careers in modeling (Kendall) and entrepreneurship (Kylie).
Nobel Prize winner Yousafzai, actress Chloë Grace Moretz, Modern Family star Rico Rodriguez and Mad Men actress Kiernan Shipka also made the list.
