Jaime King, husband Kyle Newman welcome baby boy

Jaime King and husband Kyle Newman welcomed a baby boy last week.

The 36-year-old actress and 39-year-old director announced the birth of their second child Monday on Instagram. The couple are already parents to 20-month-old son James, and revealed they were expecting again in February.

"We are SO happy to welcome to the world our new baby boy! Born Thursday, July 16th! Xx," King wrote. The director added, "HE'S ARRIVED! So happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world. Born July 16th! Mom & Baby are well. Name coming soon."

King and Newman met on the set of Fanboys in 2006, and married in Los Angeles in November 2007. The couple welcomed James in October 2013, and the actress named close friend and singer Taylor Swift godmother to her second child in March.

King last appeared in Barely Lethal with Jessica Alba and Hailee Steinfeld, and was best known for portraying Lemon Breeland on Hart of Dixie. The CW series starred Rachel Bilson as Dr. Zoe Hart, and was canceled after completing a fourth season this year.
