Adam Sigler died at age 41 on Wednesday.
The stockbroker was the eldest brother of The Sopranos actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler, and slipped into a coma after having a brain hemorrhage last week. Sigler was reportedly in good health prior to the hemorrhage, and had no signs of a predisposed condition.
"Words cannot express how deeply saddened we are by the sudden loss of Adam Sigler," a rep for Jamie-Lynn said in a statement to People. "He brought love and joy to everyone around him especially his family, who were by his side when he passed. Adam will continue to be a source of strength and inspiration."
Sigler is survived by Jamie-Lynn and their brother Brian, the middle child, parents Steve and Connie Sigler and fiancé Danielle Piro. The representative asked that "the family's privacy be respected during this time."
"Adam was always so happy and inspired Jamie to be a better person every day," a source told Us Weekly. "She loved him dearly and will miss him more than anyone can ever imagine. The family was with him every second he was in a coma and was surrounded by his entire family when he passed."
Jamie-Lynn Sigler came to fame as Meadow Soprano on HBO series The Sopranos, and has also appeared on Entourage, Ugly Betty and Guys with Kids. The actress and Cutter Dykstra got engaged in January 2013, and welcomed their first child, son Beau Kyle, in August 2013.
