'Jersey Shore' star Snooki, Jionni LaValle welcome baby girl

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and fiancé Jionni LaValle are proud parents to a baby girl.
The 26-year-old Jersey Shore star gave birth Friday morning, and announced the news on Twitter.
"So happy to let you know we had our beautiful daughter this morning Giovanna Marie LaValle," Polizzi wrote. "6.7 lbs, full head of black hair & perfect."
Polizzi and LaValle are already parents to two-year-old son Lorenzo Dominic. The couple have been engaged since March 2012, and plan to marry in the fall.
"No matter what happens in life, I will ALWAYS be a strong mother for my son and future daughter," the reality star captioned a photo of herself with Lorenzo in July. "My life is you."
Polizzi and Jersey Shore co-star Jenni "JWoww" Farley were pregnant at the same time, and documented their experience on web series Wombmates. Farley and fiancé Roger Mathews welcomed their first child, daughter Meilani Alexandra, in July.
