Jonathan Cheban is not happy with Naya Rivera.
The 40-year-old PR consultant and Kardashian family friend slammed the 27-year-old Glee star on his blog Wednesday for dissing Kim Kardashian's risqué cover for Paper magazine. Rivera had commented "I normally don't. But...you're someone's mother..." on an Instagram post of the shot, and Cheban responded by criticizing the actress online.
"Naya has always been a step BEHIND," he wrote. "After a year-long tour of impersonating Kim, she decided to come out of her shell and make a real statement about Kim's Paper cover ... As expected, she's getting some press and when all else fails, use Kim."
"I'm personally disgusted that after badgering Kim all year and trying to hang out and do business together, she goes and tries to make a statement like this," he declared. "Yes, Kim is a mother, BUT WHO CARES... have you ever heard of a MILF?!"
Cheban included a series of photos of looks and outfits Rivera allegedly copied from Kardashian. He declared the reality star's cover for Paper "one of the hottest, if not the hottest cover all year," and called Rivera's comments "meaningless."
Kardashian's cover immediately inspired a slew of memes, and comedian Chelsea Handler imitated the photo Wednesday on Instagram. Many have asserted the reality star's right to bare her body, while others dismissed the image as attention-seeking and inappropriate.
Rivera is best known for portraying Santana Lopez on ABC series Glee, which will return for a sixth and final season in 2015.
