Freddie Prinze Jr. is not a fan of Kiefer Sutherland.
The 38-year-old actor detailed his relationship with his 47-year-old former co-star to ABC News over the weekend. Prinze Jr. starred alongside Sutherland in 24 episodes of 24, and said the experience made him want to quit acting.
"I did 24, it was terrible. I hated every moment of it," Prinze Jr. declared. "Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That's not me talking trash, I'd say it to his face. I think everyone that's worked with him has said that."
"I just wanted to quit the business after that," he continued. "I went and worked for Vince McMahon at the WWE for Christ's sake and it was a crazier job than working with Kiefer. But, at least [McMahon] was cool and tall. I didn't have to take my shoes off to do scenes with him, which they made me do [with Sutherland]. Just put the guy on an apple box or don't hire me next time. You know I'm 6 feet and he's 5'4"."
Sutherland starred as Jack Bauer on eight seasons of 24. He reprised the character for limited series 24: Live Another Day, which concluded July 15 on Fox. Prinze Jr. starred as Cole Ortiz on the show's eighth season, and has since appeared on Psych, Bones and Witches of East End. Sutherland will star with father Donald Sutherland and Demi Moore in Forsaken later this year.
