Taylor Swift refused to address her alleged feud with Katy Perry in a recent interview, instead telling reporters she's not willing to give the media "anything to write about."
Swift, 25, spoke to The Telegraph in February about her rising career, her non-existent love life and her never-ending list of worries, but there was one thing she would not talk about: Perry.
"I'm not giving them anything to write about," she reportedly said, "smiling steelily."
The "Blank Space" singer sparked rumors of a feud with Perry after telling Rolling Stone in 2014 that the song "Bad Blood" off of her latest studio album, 1989, was about a fellow performer who "basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour."
"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not," Swift explained in the interview, later adding that, after the unnamed performer tried to hire people from under her, "I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies."
While Swift failed to give out any names, Perry incriminated herself in the controversy by tweeting: "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..." hours after the interview was published online.
