A tit-for-tat between 2 Arabian pop divas leaves fans sensing a face-off in the offing. After the fiery answer of Tunisian singer, Latifa, to a question by AlWatan Magazine, comes an equally smarting 'diss' from Haifa in rejoinder to the first 'blow'. She says, she says Asked what her reaction would be if MBC asked her to have the Lebanese singer, Haifa Wahbi, as a guest on her TV show, Haifa’s stinging reply followed on Twitter, her favorite mouthpiece and a war seemed about to ensue. According to Al Muheet website, Latifa answered the question by saying: ”Haifa has nothing to do with “real singing” and those are her words and not mine… Of course we would refuse her appearance on the show in its current format and concept, but we might have her as a guest if the idea of the show were to change and Haifa’s type of singing were needed”. Haifa replied on her personal Twitter account in equally feisty fashion, with more in-your-face, sister attitutde! :” Latchifa (sic).. I don’t care about your opinion or your TV show. I don’t know why you would you say that when my album is scoring such a huge success”. Haifa has released her latest new album “Maleket Gamal El Kawm” (Your beauty Queen). The album is produced by Rotana and features 14 songs. In this album, Haifa collaborated with several poets and composers and the album saw a huge and untraditional success on different social media websites even before being released to the markets, Its iTunes ranking was19 amongst 200 international albums.
