At least four people including two troops were killed in a suicide blast in Pakistan's southwest province of Balochistan on Friday morning, said an officer. Talat Masood, a commander of Frontier Corps, a paramilitary force in Pakistan, which is mainly responsible for the country's border safety, said that the blast took place early Friday morning in Zhob, a small town in northern Balochistan, which is about 50 kilometers away from the Afghan border. FC personnel on routine patrol stopped a suspected car for check near a FC headquarters in Zhob and one of the two persons sitting in the car blew himself up, killing two FC personnel right on the spot, said Masood, adding that the suicide bomber and his accomplice were also killed in the blast. They were heading towards the Afghan border while being stopped by FC, he said. They could be on a mission for a suicide bomb attack somewhere, said local media. Details about the suicide bomber and his accomplice are not available. Earlier local media Express reported that two FC personnel were killed when their vehicle was hit by a bomb in the baggages of two suspects they were escorting to Zhob and the suspects were arrested near the Afghan border.
