At least seven militants were killed in a clash with security forces in Mohmand tribal agency of northern Pakistan bordering on Saturday, said military.
A statement by Pakistan military's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that security forces killed seven militants in a clash that erupted after militants' movement was intercepted by the forces, Dawn news reported.
The security forces recovered bodies of the seven militants from Mohmand's Yakaghund area following the clash that was handed over to the administration.
The clash erupted at a time when Pakistan military has paced up action against the militants in tribal region following the brutal attack on an army run school in Peshawar city killing at least 132 children.
