A small plane of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed in the country's central Jhang district on Monday afternoon, a PAF spokesperson said.
The plane carrying one pilot was on its routine training mission when it crashed in Athara Hazari area of Jhang, a district in the country's east Punjab province.
The pilot managed to bail out of the plane and remained unhurt in the accident.
The aircraft caught fire after hitting the ground.
The district police officer of Jhang district said that no casualties took place at the crash site as the plane fell in a remote area.
The PAF spokesperson said they have formed a board of senior officers to determine the cause of the crash.
Following the incident, the area was surrounded by law enforcement agencies as well as officials and personnel of the PAF.
