At least fifteen people have been killed and thirty nine others wounded in a blast at Sabzi Mandi area of Islamabad. Assistant Inspector General Islamabad Police Sultan Azam Taimuri said that five kg of explosive was used in the blast. He said the material was planted in the fruit’s crate. Police have cordoned off the Sabzi Mandi area. Bomb disposal squad has also arrived at the site of the blast. Pakistan’s President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have strongly denounced the Sabzi Mandi blast.
