Afghan president Hamid Karzai has dismissed Afghan National Directorate of Security (NDS) chief Rahmatullah Nabeel from his position, the Khaama press or Khaama online newspaper, said on Wednesday . Afghan lawmakers on their part Wednesday criticized Afghan president Hamid Karzai's decision in this concern. Farkhunda Zahra Naderi Afghan parliament member called Rahmatullah Nabeel an effortful person and said neighboring intelligence agencies are behind the decision of president Hamid Karzai to dismiss Rahmatullah Nabeel. She said the dismissal of Rahmatullah Nabeel reflects the growth of pragmatic policies of the Afghan government which have crossed the borders of Afghanistan. In the meantime a number of other Afghan lawmakers said Rahmatullah Nabeel had good administrative skills which led him to achieve 210 confidence votes from the Afghan House of Representatives. Another Afghan lawmaker Suroor Usmani said Afghan parliament members will continue to support Rahmatullah Nabeel. This comes as Afghan lawmakers earlier dismissed Afghan interior and defense ministers due to cross border incursion by Pakistan. For his part, Afghan lawmaker Nahid Farid warned that dismissal of senior Afghan security officials will harm the security situation of Afghanistan.
