At least 31 fighters from the Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (ISIL) Sunday were killed and dozens wounded in the air strikes launched by forces loyal to President Bashar Al-Assad in Raqqa city and the surrounding areas, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
Syrian warplanes launched at least 25 strikes Sunday on the Islamic State buildings, including the military court and bases in the city, the observatory added in a statement on Sunday.
The air raids caused the death of 18 civilians, including children, the observatory said, adding, however, that a "tunnel explosion" in Damascus launched by armed brigades killed at least 20 personnel of forces loyal to Al-Assad.
