Iraqi Interior Minister Qasim al Araji called on Monday for re-opening police stations and civil defense directorates in liberated Tal Afar in the governorate of Nineveh.
The Interior Ministry, in a statement, said Araji urged all police stations and civil defense directorates to resume all law enforcing activities, especially those concerned with mine clearance and dismantling explosive devices and booby-trapped cars.
The statement ushered the beginning of a new bright chapter in the history of the city.
Iraqi forces have retaken all of Tal Afar after liberating its center from Daesh militants, declaring a full victory.
