A nephew of terrorist Daesh group leader was killed in an air strike launched by Iraqi warplanes in eastern Ramadi province, Head of Khalidiya District Council in Anbar Ali Dawood said on Wednesday.
Eight other Daesh militants were killed along with Abu Ahmed Al Samarrai after Iraqi jets targeted a building used by Daesh group as Sharia court in Albu Bali district of Al Khalidiya city in eastern Ramadi, he added.
This comes as part of a wide-scale military operation to liberate some areas in eastern Ramadi city of Anbar province from Daesh fighters.
