Iraqi security forces began on Sunday a wide-scale military operation in southern Ramadi to crush operatives of the militant Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant group, known as Daash a security source said. The operation will center on Humaira area, a hotbed of the terrorist group, the source added. The operation aims at blocking supplies to Daash operatives to be able to purge the rest of Ramadi areas from these militants. Meanwhile, security forces are preparing for another wide military operation in Falloujah today after it was fully surrounded at dawn. Warplanes are bombing some outposts held by Daash operatives in Fallujah to weaken their capabilities in preparation for the military operation.
