Iraqi forces Start Military Operations to Win Back Key Region Near Ramadi City
Baghdad - Arab Today

Iraqi forces affiliated with the Anbar Operations Command started on Friday a military operation to liberate Hit city in western Anbar province from the control of the Daesh terrorist group.

Iraqi army's 10th Division forces have successfully retaken Tal Aswad town in Hit city in order to secure the victory achieved against Daesh militants in the liberated regions of the city.

Meanwhile, the US-led coalition has launched airstrikes against Daesh gatherings in Hit.

The attack resulted in killing Daesh leader in Tal Aswad Abu Taha al Namrawy.
