Abdallah Abozekry will be performing at ROOM Art Space, Dance Studio & Cafe on Thursday 11 June. The event is part of Room Jazz Festival.
The popular musician is one of Egypt's youngest Saz players and currently works as a teacher at Arab Oud House in Cairo. He is a member of Orchestra al Sharq, which was established by Mohamed Hamami and features 60 musicians of 22 different nationalities, and Bait al Out Orchestra, directed by Naseer Shamma.
Abozekry also studied at the Bait Al Oud House and graduated at the age of 15. He has many accolades to his name, including a first place prize in the Saz international competition at the 23rd annual Arab Music Festival in 2014.
