Homs Governor Talal al Barazi said on Friday that as many as 150 Syrian families have been returned this week to areas under Syrian armed forces' control in Homs governorate coming from camp Zogra, west of Jarabulus city controlled by Turkey and opposition in northern Syria.
More families are scheduled to return over the coming week, Sky News channel quoted al Barazi as saying,
He pointed out that operations to ensure the return of all displaced Syrians started a few weeks ago and are going on.
More than 20,000 people, including fighters, opponents and their families, have been sent to northern Syria as part of an agreement between government and opposition, which still controls territories in some places alongside the Turkish army.
The war in Syria have forced about 11 million Syrians, half of the country's population, to leave their homes, leaving about five million refugees in neighboring countries, where as up to six million others have been displaced in Syria living in temporary tents and shelters.
