Daesh terrorist group retook control of most districts that it lost in central and east Raqqah, local Syrian sources said on Tuesday.
This came following fierce clashes between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Daesh.
Daesh recaptured the streets of 23 Shabaat, Sief el Dawla and Mansour in central Raqqah, Russia Today (RT) quoted sources as saying.
The advance of Deash terrorists propelled SDF to retreat to eastern Raqqah, the sources added.
While many SDF fighters were killed and injured, some of them were captured by Daesh.
On Monday, SDF retook full control of the central and eastern neighborhoods of Raqqah.
