The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Wednesday that regime forces seized a village in northern Rif Aleppo after fierce clashes with Daesh.
The observatory noted that shelling of Daesh strongholds in Raqqa continued.
Syrian local coordination committees said 38 people, including seven children and 10 women, were killed on Tuesday in clashes and shelling across Syria.
Field opposition sources said at least 30 Russian raids were conducted in Daraa, hampering the advancement of opposition forces.
