At least 20 civilians have been killed and dozens others wounded in Russian airstrikes on the Syrian city of Raqqa, the stronghold of Daesh terrorist group.

Two Daesh elements were also killed in the raids that targeted the districts of Maghsalet Abdel Rahman, Moderiat al Kahrabaa and Kazeya Shoukry, sources told Sky news Wednesday.

Sixteen civilians and five Daesh elements were injured in Russian airstrikes on the districts of al Mahata, al Mashlab, al Ferdos and the barracks area in Raqqa.
