Aleppo is under siege after crucial supply routes were bombed
London - Arab Today

Nearly 100 families in Aleppo were unable to leave the city due to armed clashes there, Chairman of the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) Rami Abdel Rahman said on Thursday.

Speaking to the Sky News TV channel, Abdel Rahman said the families failed to flee from Bustan al Basha district which falls under the control of armed opposition to the neighborhood of Sheikh Maksoud, controlled by Kurdish fighters.

A fighter of the Syrian Democratic Forces said an attempt by 250 civilians to seek a safe passage failed due to heavy fire.
