The Syrian government has informed the United Nations of its readiness to guarantee a safe exit for the civilians and militants wishing to leave eastern Aleppo.
Official resources said on Wednesday that Syrian ambassador to the UN Bashar Al Jaafari handed the message to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon and UN Security Council leadership, the US-funded Al Hurrah channel reported.
Damascus also pledged to evacuate the wounded through safe corridors to allow them to return normally to eastern Aleppo and state agencies resume their activity to extend all forms of service needs to residents who want to stay there, according to the massage.
