Daesh leader in the Syrian city of Homs succumbed to the wounds he sustained during confrontations in Aleppo countryside, the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Thursday.
The observatory said the Syrian government forces have advanced in several villages after several battles, noting that there were casualties on both sides.
During the past few days, Aleppo-Khanaser road witnessed fierce clashes between government forces and armed rebels. There were also clashes between government forces and Daesh militants.
