London - XINHUA
Hong Kong's pop singer Eason Chan on Friday night held his third personal concert in London, which was also the second one in the O2 Arena. The two-hour concert "EASON'S LIFE" attracted fans across Britain with fabulous performances and stage effects, arousing thundering applause. Continuing his odd but unique style of "Doctor Chan", this concert was also a gathering of fancy performers, such as clowns wearing weird costumes, a two-meter-tall giant, a plump cat, colorful hairy monsters as well as zombies with two crosses inserted in their heads. Besides his classic Cantonese and Mandarin songs, Eason also sang a song he wrote in 1996 when he was studying in Britain. "I hope to let everyone know that in that era, I was here in Britain,... My song witnessed that period, and it was very important to me, as it was the first one I wrote. Thus, I came back to the place where I began to share the 'Eason Chan' of 18 years ago." Launched in July 2013, Chan's world tour concert began in Hong Kong. So far, he has performed in many places, including the Chinese mainland, Macao, the United States, Canada and Thailand. Eason will hold his personal concert in Paris on March 31 for the first time.
