Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred said that he was keen to exercise the religious rituals during the latest Islamic holy month of fasting of Ramadan, stressing his confidence that he will prove his innocence of the accusation of raping a French girl in the near future. He added that his lawyer prevented him from giving any statements during the current period to any media platforms.
He denied his knowledge of the lawsuit against French girl Laura Briol who accused him of raping her, as her car was confiscated by the French police after the arrest of a French young man inside it with large amounts of illegal drugs. He stressed that his lawsuit will end soon.
He added, in a statement to “Egypt Today”, that he does not follow her news, does not care to do so, while he focuses currently on prove his innocence in cooperation with his lawyers he stressed that he has the opportunity to overcome the current crisis and to return to his country.
The Moroccan singer refused to give details about the case, saying that he prepares currently for the future, saying that the senior artists around the world faced similar positions in the beginning of their lives
