Iraqi singer Shatha Hassoun revealed that she was robbed during her stay in Greece, as she was spending her holiday there with a number of her friends, adding that she usually brings her jewelry bag on her trips abroad.
She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, “I put jewelry and money in a safe place inside the villa where we were staying, and when I returned to it I wanted to put a necklace I was wearing, and found that jewelry and a large amount of money had evaporated.”
She added that she submitted a complaint to police that started the investigation and found, according to a surveillance camera, that the thieves were three and entered the back door and seized personal belongings.
She added, “There is no doubt that they were watching me, because it was not a coincidence but a planned, and no doubt that the investigations will reach the identity of the thieves, especially as the loot exceeds the value with the money million US dollars.”
She revealed that No one knows that she was carrying precious jewels, but it seems that the thieves relied on the coincidence when they stormed the villa, and found the possessions and seized them.
