The Interior Ministry announced that two terrorists were killed in a shootout with security forces at Farafra road in the New Valley.
In a released statement, the ministry indicated that these efforts are exerted in implementation of a plan to hunt down terrorist elements of a cell led by terrorist Amr Saad Abbas Ibrahim, which is accused of involvement in several acts of violence.
The national security sector received a tip-off that the two terrorists were hiding in a hotbed in the New Valley.
Security forces managed to specify the hideout of the two at Farafra road.
When the forces tried to storm their hotbed they opened fire on them prompting the forces to respond leaving the two dead.
