US raids on al-Raqqa in Syria

Local sources in the Syrian city of Raqqa on Sunday said 250 civilians were killed and dozens injured by US-led strikes on several districts in the city over the past four days.

Russia Today quoted Syrian activities as saying that the US-led strikes have killed 1,117 civilians, including 267 children and 164 women since June.

Earlier, the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said 85 percent of the city has been liberated from Daesh control.
