Local Afghan officials said Sunday that four terrorist Taliban group militants were killed and six others were wounded in clashes with Afghan security forces in Bajalan region, northern Afghanistan, Tolo TV channel reported.

The Afghan security forces managed to repel an attack by Taliban militants on a security checkpoint, local officials told the Afghan television.

The officials underlined that the clashes between the security forces and the militants lasted for hours.
