Up to 58 people were killed and wounded in a bombing in northern Iraq.

The Iraqi news agency quoted a security source in Salahuddin province as saying on Tuesday that the blast was caused by a booby-trapped car in a popular market in a district in Tozkhormato province.

Security forces were deployed in the scene of the blast, he added.
