The Armed Forces foiled on Thursday a terrorist attack on an army checkpoint in North Sinai, killing five terrorists and wounding six others.

In a statement, the army said law enforcement forces of the Second Army destroyed a 4×4 vehicle and a building, where the terrorists were hiding.

The statement stressed that the army forces will continue war against terrorism in Sinai until it is eradicated.
