Belarus Ambassador here Sergei Rachkov said on Wednesday he discussed with Egyptian Tourism Minister Yahia Rashed boosting cooperation in the tourism domain, especially as regards the e-visa field.

Rachkov, in statements to MENA, said the two sides discussed adding Belarus to the list of countries whose nationals can apply for an online visa to enter Egypt as tourists.

He noted that there is a remarkable increase in the number of tourists to Egypt in 2017.

The diplomat said a workshop was organized in Minsk in December for 14 Egyptian hotels as part of efforts to increase the number of Belarus tourists to Egypt.
