US-led coalition warplanes on Tuesday carried out airstrikes against Daesh terrorists in al Qa'im district, western al Anbar.

While three Daesh hotbeds were destroyed by the airstrikes, 17 Daesh terrorists were killed and five civilians injured, the Iraqi Media News Agency reported.

Al Anbar has witnessed frequent Daesh attacks on civilians and security forces in the western parts.
