Two people were injured by an explosive device that went off southwestern Baghdad, an Iraqi security source said on Tuesday.
The bomb went off near a local market at Radwaniyah area, southwestern Baghdad, leaving two people injured, added the source.
Security forces and ambulances rushed to the site and took the injured to hospital, said the source, who asked not to be named, in statements to Sumeria news channel.
Meanwhile, Iraqi President Fuad Masum stressed the necessity to renounce "outdated thoughts" that hinder the nation's progress.
The president underlined the importance of mobilizing all potentials in fighting terrorism.
