Finnish Prime Minister Juha Sipila

Finnish Prime Minister Juha Sipila, who had been scheduled to tender his coalition's resignation on Tuesday, will not do so, the president said after a last-minute option to save his government presented itself.
"There is no need now for the president of the republic to do anything. The meeting between (President Sauli) Niinisto and Prime Minister Sipila is unnecessary and therefore cancelled," the presidency wrote on Twitter.
The tweet came after the populist Finns Party -- ousted from the coalition on Monday -- split into two factions on Tuesday and the more moderate one said it wanted to stay in the government.
