The Heikal Foundation for Arab Journalism on Saturday announced the recipients of its first annual journalism prizes for young journalists in a ceremony held at the Cairo Opera House.

The recipients are Ghada Mohamed Ibrahim el Sherif for its works on women's rights, Ahmed Hassan Abdel Aziz for his work as a military correspondent on the ground and Mohamed Salah Eddin for his deep and accurate coverage of the judicial affairs.
